Honey, leave him. He is abusive, a cheater, unsupportive – everything you DON’T want the father of your children to be. Fate is telling you that you are NOT meant to have kids with this scumbag. You are better off alone, even if it seems hopeless and horrible now, then you are with him. Guaranteed, a few months after leaving his useless butt, you’ll find someone who is nice, loyal, and perhaps better at fertilzing you! Good luck! Take care of yourself FIRST!

It really does depend on what a person is after. Some folks just want support and others really need advice and/or want a nudge. Sometimes it isn’t easy to know which.

i think we’ve just been honest..

the beauty of a place like this is that you can say what you think more freely. Where you might not be quite so honest to someone you were face to face with, seeking to minimise the pain.

I’m sure the poster understands that sometimes blunt truth is needed, deltic. I’ve done some work in crisis counseling and sometimes the numbness of abuse is so overwhelming that it’s all that works for someone to see the danger in a situation.

It seems as if we have all been very harsh in our responses. Please don’t feel that we don’t care, I am sure we all feel deeply for your situation, but sometimes the blunt truth is needed to shock someone into seeing the situation as others do. Please take care of yourself.

Okay, first I’m so very sorry for the loss of your babies.

Secondly… you said you lost a baby because of his physical abuse and your plan is to work it out?! Oh dear! Wrong answer.

Of course, it is not easy. You’ve invested time .. and all of the emotions involved in wanting to start a family, but still, the answer doesn’t seem to be in staying.
