After being married for 18 years, fathering 4 kids, and thinking our marriage was above normal, the wife tells me she wants a divorce on Friday the 13th (LOL). She says I\’m too controlling, I have a temper and I told her to \’either get a job or get out of the house\’.

Well I\’m not controlling, she simply does not know what to do half the time. My temper (screaming) may flare if you push my buttons and you mess with my head for 6 years: I seldom blow up and it takes a lot to get me there. Did I tell her to get a job. YES. I was working 60-80 hours a week while she was off screwing around; anyway she was looking for a job to begin with.

Good relationships are about loving, respecting and honoring each other. A big part of loving someone is accepting them as they are. Do you respect and honor the ways in which your partner is different from you? Do you love who you are when you\’re together? Do you feel honored and cherished by your loved one? Is there something that they can do that would dissolve your bond forever? Cheating can have this affect.

Being cheated on can also lead to low-self esteem, mistrust of self and living as a victim to what happened.

Your last relationship was so beautiful and you still love your ex partner even though you are not together anymore. You don\’t exclude the possibility of meeting other people but when you at least expect you start thinking about your ex. And maybe you are thinking of making up with your ex. If this is what you are thinking then you have to forget all the unpleasant things that caused the break up.

1. Disappear from you ex life … temporarily It is obvious that both of you had enough time and space to think about what happened and what should you do next. It is best to disappear for a while and let your ex to wonder where you are or what are you doing.

Have a boyfriend of 20 years. He is 60 years old and takes care of his 86-year old father in his father\’s house. Recently his sisters hired a plump 50 year old maid who laughs at everything he says who comes in to take care of his father at 8 00 a.m. to 12 00 am then leaves and returns at 6 00 p.m. overnight to 12 00 noon the next day, every day of the week.

He has grown very cold toward me. He leaves me in his room and goes to talk to the maid. He also walks around the house in his underwear while his father is dressed. He says he is not fooling with her. He says he is not married to me. He says if I bring it up about him fooling around with her for me to stay at home and not come to see him anymore.
