Maybe they don’t specificaly plan to cheat, but they seem willing enough to put themselve in situations that lead to cheating.

I hadn’t thought about whether or not people plan to cheat, maybe in a lot of cases it is because people put themselves in the wrong situations then they are surprised when things happen.

I am sure the article puts forward strong arguments for not cheating, but I don’t think most cheaters make a plan to cheat. I think that circumstances lead them into it, then once they have cheated they keep going and make their situation even worse

I think that a lot of people do have affairs with coworkers because that’s the easiest place to truly get to know someone. However, if the relationship goes sour, it can be hell!

Having an affair at work is likely to lead to problems for those involved, but when these things happe common senses seems to vanish.

Sagemother, I believe that affairs start because both parties are willing to do something about it. I´ve had very very good friends at work, but it never went into an affair. Maybe the “ease of access” is part of the whole motivation.

I think people go for the “on the job” thinking that it will not affect them. I think that is one of the biggest mistakes. When it ends, the situation can become unbearable.

I am constantly amazed at the number of “on the job” affairs that develop.

The dangers of discovery pale in comparison to the damage that can be done to your professional reputation, which can kill your earning power!
