If every woman in this world who found out that her husband is having an affair can resort to such a way to solve the problem, I guess there will be very few divorce cases in this world. How many women out there who think with their brains rather than their heart? Very little, I presume.

I find it hard to believe that the wife’s putting the same energy into their marriage as she had in getting even, would have swayed the husband.

He probably would have kept cheating with even more confidence in his having fooled her.

I’m sorry but I’m a firm believer of the saying: once a cheater, always a cheater! Once a person crosses that barrier, then they know they are capable of doing it, and the second time is easier, as it is the third one and the consecutive cheating. So, maybe this is a nice story, but I wouldn’t trust him to keep out of the affair.

justontime, I think once the cheater is faced with consequences or with the possibility that their partner is also cheating on them, things change.

They become remorseful and almost willing to do anything to get back to the way things were. Let’s just see how long that lasts though. I think it’s just a band aid solution.

Sage I agree entirely, but I also see Molly’s point that if she had put that much attention to detail into the marriage it may have helped to keep them close in the first place.

The type of energy involved in such intrigue doesn’t seem compatible with the marital bed, IMHO.

One is more vulnerable in bed than they are in other situations.
