Very enlightening quotes and sayings. I haven’t ever heard of any of them before.
I came over from a link from Jon’s Chimeric Day Dreams site…..and what a great collection of quotes you have here!
Haha, I take quotes from song lyrics, too!! It can be just as moving for when I read the quote, the back of my mind knows how it’s sung…and remember the emotion behind those words, too.
Very great qoutes. Isn’t the first one from some song? For some reason I remember hearing that one in a song.
Yes, the first quote is from a song. A few of them are.
They are great quotes and songs though, and they all have the same melancholy tone.
Thanks I thought some of them were from songs. I wrote a couple of them down just to give to hubby in his lunch as a surprise.
Tater03, that’s so sswet of you!
Many of those quotes remind us that out of sorrow can come increased strength, sensitivity, even a better sense of humour!
hi..!its just been ds week..!
it happens yesterday..i broke up with him bcuz i didnt feel anymore his presence to me so i decided..dat i would stop ds kinda stupid relationship..!
so we end it up..it hurts bcuz i love him nore dan i do..!
mollyL,
And the best thing about it… is that you learn that tomorrow is another day and no matter how hurt you are, tomorrow will open another door to another relationship.
I think that is all what we should be doing instead of moping around something we can’t change in the past.
ennaoj, it usually hurts a lot in the beginning… but you know, you are really better off without him if he just keeps on cheating on you.
I mean, do you realloy want to share him with other women?
We must remember that life is long, even though gone in a moment. We must remember the pain exquisitely to be able to feel our new love with exquisite joy.
mollyL, we should remember always that it is not just about cherishing your new love. We also need to remember to cherish that love forever.
I love quotations, and these are some beautiful ones. In fact, I’m going to send a few of them to a friend who is currently having her heart broken by a cheating partner.
Calypso, I hope it helped your friend.
While reading these little quotations, a nice cry will help to heal the soul, isn’t it amazing how a few tears can help you to feel better?
Perhaps one of the best points is that if you must have a pity party, have it in one day, and be by yourself!
That doesn’t mean you can’t speak about the breakup with a good friend; just don’t wallow about it. Dry your eyes, get strong, and rejoin the land of the living.
Liza, you just have to cry out what aches, and then, just like when it rain and a beautiful rainbow shows up, you are on your way to healing.
Molly, LOL! I’ve never heard of a pity party that ended in just one day …..
Usually my pity parties come with a lot of comfort food. So, maybe you are making quite a bit of sense just by limiting it to only one day. That would not be very good for my waist line!
Those are great quotes. Most of them are also very sad, but also very true. Having a broken heart sucks!
Those are good quotes and so very sad, but true. Sometimes a brief pause and a cry helps to deal with the hurt in order to move on.
The quotes illustrate just how much heartache is part of the human experience.
I have a friend who would say these quotes are proof that pain can create beauty if expressed with an eye toward the artistic.
Some feel real, most are just depressing. They reminded me that when you are in love and only then, do love songs really make sense. Otherwise, they are just taki.
Sage, I hadn’t thought about that before, about pain expressed in that way can create beauty.
Sage Mother I like that thought about pain creating something beautiful, but I would rather do without the pain.
