I’m terrible …. I buy lovely underwear, then stash it in a drawer for ‘best’. But somehow ‘best’ never comes & it sits there looking perfect still whilst the same tired garments get aired every day.
IF I buy great looking un dies, I buy them for myself. If the hubby likes them then that is a happy side affect!

I am the same way. I spend so much money to anticipate for the “best” time, but it just doesn’t happen as often as I expect it.
SageMother, sometimes they don’t even notice ….
My husband has very simple needs: me, naked. Sometimes he likes a filmy little gown that is covered in rosebuds. Me covered with rose petals is another thing he likes. So fancy lingerie is something I’ve never really considered.
