I would say that cheating is an art form to many people (unfortunately) and those people are unlikely to ever be caught and unlikely to ever be part of poll results.

I know of a couple that are well into their 50s… almost 60. They keep their union alive in many ways, not only being active with things they both like, but they still have little escapades to enjoy sexually as if they were teenagers! I guess that could be some kind of vaccination against cheating…

justontime, it’s really a matter of when you get caught and not if you get caught.

If someone cheats and feels he/she has got away with it he/she will become more confident and complacent and eventually they will arouse suspicion or get caught out.

Oh, yes, we may not look at the elderly as sexual beings, but definitely, there is a lot of hanky-panky going on with our beloved “oldsters”. Ask anyone who works with the elderly in a medical context, and they will put you right. The elderly love sex, and God bless them for it.
